We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Conveyancing Title Checker to join their growing property team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-focused conveyancing professional who enjoys the technical side of residential property and is confident identifying and resolving title issues.



The Role

You will be responsible for:

- Reviewing freehold and leasehold titles and Land Registry documentation

- Identifying title defects, restrictions, covenants, easements and other potential issues

- Reviewing property searches and supporting documentation

- Raising and reviewing title enquiries and requisitions

- Ensuring properties meet relevant lender requirements

- Working closely with conveyancers and fee earners to keep transactions moving

- Providing practical solutions to title and property issues



About You

We are looking for someone with:

- 1-3+ years' residential conveyancing experience, ideally with title-checking experience

- Strong knowledge of property law and Land Registry procedures

- Experience with both freehold and leasehold matters

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

- Good knowledge of lender requirements and the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders' Handbook

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- The ability to work independently and manage deadlines



A legal or conveyancing qualification such as LLB, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer is desirable, but relevant practical experience will also be considered.
