Salary: £26,000-£28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm | Friday 8:30am-2:45pm
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join a busy and well-established operation based in Flitwick.
This is a varied role combining warehouse administration, stock control and operational support, with a strong focus on using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
You'll play an important role in ensuring orders, stock movements and despatches are processed accurately and efficiently, while providing day-to-day support to the warehouse team and liaising with other departments.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, computer literate and confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Previous WMS experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
" Releasing e-commerce orders for picking by the warehouse team
" Printing labels for production and pallet despatch
" Organising and fulfilling stock replenishments
" Liaising with hauliers regarding daily collections
" Acting as a key point of contact for the warehouse team
" Communicating with other departments regarding deliveries and production issues
" Investigating and reporting stock discrepancies
" Assisting with picking and packing, ensuring a high level of accuracy
" Using handheld scanners for e-commerce, spares and production
" Operating a PPT where required
" Working closely with warehouse operatives and other departments
" Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and production
" Supporting the wider warehouse operation with additional duties as required
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
" Experienced in warehouse administration and confident using WMS systems - essential
" Computer literate and comfortable working with warehouse software
" Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
" A strong communicator who works well as part of a team
" Proactive, positive and happy to get involved
" Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
" Confident carrying out a combination of administrative and practical warehouse duties
" Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English, or equivalent
" In possession of a PPT truck licence - preferred
Working Hours & Flexibility
Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:30pm
Friday: 8:30am-2:45pm
Some flexibility may be required during peak periods to meet operational demands. This may include working additional hours, with the opportunity to take time off during quieter periods, as agreed with the business.
