Electrical Design Engineer

The Electrical Design Engineer will design electrical systems from scratch working with the Mechanical engineering team to broaden product versatility and improve systems performance.

Essential skills & experience

A qualified Electrical engineer with a minimum of a Batchelors degree or an HNC in Electrical, Electromechanical, Robotics, Automation or Food Processing discipline. Or 5+ years' experience in a relevant role

You will have a current and proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer having designed the electrical systems required for the operation of capital equipment or special purpose machinery.

You will have experience of incorporating gearboxes, motors, PLC's, servo controllers & safety devices into machinery.

You will have experience creating electrical drawings with AutoCAD and Draftsight.
